Working closely with Nature’s Beauty gives me a sense of peace like nothing else. Seeing a sweet honeybee or a rapidly fluttering hummingbird wing unfold under my paintbrush feeds my soul ALMOST as if I were right there with them. Of course, nothing is quite the same as the actual moment outdoors…but it’s gratifying to live indoors around these images I love.
My art journey started years ago in college when I was required to take an Art I class. Before then I’d been searching for a path that fit…but had found nothing resonated. Surprisingly, Art resonated and continues to pluck at my heart strings today. The medium used for expression has changed off and on over the years…beginning with mostly clay and sculpture to where I am now… Strictly watercolor. I love it. My years of living life outdoors as much as possible continues to be my main inspiration. Nature is the source of all my creativity. It’s a pleasure to share what I love with you.
